About Vital Ex Engineering Ltd

We're an independent engineering consultancy specialising in hazardous area compliance, functional safety and explosion protection. Founded by Tal Hopkins, a Chartered Engineer with almost 30 years experience, Vital Ex combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach. As a TÜV Rheinland Certified Functional Safety Engineer and international CompEx trainer, Tal has supported organisations across the UK and internationally with some of the most complex hazardous area and process safety challenges.
